Business Profiles Guide

Introduce a business with a clear account of what it does and whom it serves.

Prepare the core information

Gather the correct business name, a short overview, services or products, the customers you serve and public contact details. Describe the problem you help customers solve rather than relying on broad claims.

Use evidence for your claims

Include relevant experience, projects or credentials only when they can be supported. Confirm permission before naming clients, publishing testimonials or using another organisation’s logo. Do not invent years of experience, staff numbers or accreditations.

Keep it relevant to the reader

A supplier introduction, proposal attachment and public company overview may need different levels of detail. Choose sections that help the recipient make a decision, and remove repetition.

Review the final profile

Check that services, locations and contact information are current. Keep visual presentation consistent and make the next step clear. A company profile does not replace registration documents, licences or other evidence requested by a customer or authority.
